I want to say thank you for making 2016 one of the most fun years for me and Underworld. This past year on my book tour for Underworld, Hoboken to Hollywood (still available from Fanatgraphics Books if you haven’t yet bought a copy) I traveled to Portland, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Jersey City, Madrid and Majorca in Spain! I had a wonderful book signing in my now hometown of Los Angeles that was a blast. I was so happy to meet everyone that came out — really, I get a little choked up. I took a break from writing and drawing Underworld this past year, but starting in 2017 I’ll be banging out weirdness and gags and posting them here on my website. I’ve started a store here and will be adding new designs every few months. Originals for sale starting around summer. My secret weapon is Bridie MacDonald who designed my book, designs my website, and is spearheading the Underworld merchandize. She’s amazing! Drop me a line and say hi to Bridie too. See you in the future!
Order “The Underworld: From Hoboken to Hollywood” the omnibus collection of the very best of the strip’s 23-year run, with annotations, photos, and other surprises from the author (along with a foreword by Mutts creator Patrick McDonnell).
