Here’s a cover illustration for a book that never happened. I decided to take these comic strips and more for my big hardcover collection. The title is from Beckett’s Waiting for Godot: “We are not saints. But we’ve kept our appointment.” Well, I never kept my appointment with this book and poor Godot is still waiting for it.
